Women’s Hockey Claims Ninth-Straight MIAC Playoff Title With 4-2 Win Over Concordia

The Gustavus women’s hockey team claimed its unprecedented ninth consecutive MIAC Playoff Championship with a 4-2 victory over Concordia on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties move on to the NCAA Tournament with a 23-2-2 overall record, while the Cobbers finish their season 15-5-5.

Allie Schwab Named MIAC Women’s Hockey Player Of The Year, Three Other Gusties Awarded All-Conference

The accolades keep rolling in for the Gustavus women’s hockey team as four Gusties garnered MIAC All-Conference honors. Highlighting the conference’s post-season awards is senior forward Allie Schwab (Stillwater, Minn.) who was named MIAC Player-of-the-Year. Senior Mollie Carroll (Eagan, Minn.), sophomore Amanda Cartony (Stillwater, Minn.) and junior Lindsey Hjelm (North Oaks, Minn.) were also named All-Conference.
