The Gustavus men's track and field team recorded 44.5 points in day one of competition at the 2011 MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships being held in St. Peter, Minn. Saint John's is the currently leader with 67 points, while St. Thomas sits in second with 36.5 points.
Men’s Track & Field Competes At Meet Of The UnSaintly
The Gustavus men’s track and field team had 24 individuals record a top-10 finish at the Meet of the UnSaintly hosted by Hamline in St. Paul on Friday and Saturday. No team scores were kept, as it was the final regular season meet before the Gusties compete at the 2011 MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday, May 13-14 in St. Peter, Minn.
Men’s Track & Field Takes Part In Hamline Capitol City Championships
The Gustavus men’s track and field team registered 22 individual top-10 finishes at the Capitol City Championships hosted by Hamline University on Thursday in St. Paul. There were no team scores kept at the meet, as Blair Riegel turned in Gustavus’ only win by taking first in the long jump with a leap of 22’ 2.25”.
Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Finishes 11th At Falcon Invitational
The Gustavus men’s track and field team compiled a two-day total of 44 points to finish in 11th place out of 18 competing schools. Blair Riegel led the Gusties with three top-10 finishes, taking third in the long jump, eighth in the 100-meter dash, and ninth in the 200-meter dash.
