10 Swimmers Named CSCAA All-America

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently released its All-America honors and 10 Gustavus swimmers received recognition.

Novak Named D3baseball.com Third Team All-America

Bryce Novak (So., Cleveland) of Gustavus baseball has been selected to the D3baseball.com All-America Third Team, which was announced Wednesday. 

DiNella, Klein Named CCM/AHCA Division III Women’s Hockey All-Americans

Gustavus women’s hockey student-athletes Amanda DiNella (Jr., Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.) and Kaitlyn Klein (Sr., Plymouth, Minn.) were selected as 2018 CCM/AHCA Women’s Division III All-Americans, released on Thursday night. For the second consecutive season, DiNella was named the West First Team goaltender, while Klein garnered Second Team honors.

Ashley Becker Named United Soccer Coaches First Team All-America

United Soccer Coaches announced Thursday the association’s NCAA Division III Women’s All-America Teams on the eve of the 2017 NCAA Championship semifinals in Greensboro, N.C. and Gustavus goalkeeper Ashley Becker (Jr., Farmington, Minn.) has been named First Team All-America. The First Team consists of 15 players, but just one keeper. Becker is also the only First Teamer from an institution that did not qualify for the national tournament.

Mohanad Alhouni Recognized As ITA Men’s Tennis All-American

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently announced its 2016 Division III All-Americans and Gustavus’s top player Mohanad Alhouni (So., Tripoli, Libya) was named All America on the singles team for his performance during the fall season. Alhouni becomes the 51st Gustavus men’s tennis player to earn All America status and claims the 98th All America distinction in program history.

Roberg, Griggs, and Kosak Honored By National Golf Coaches Association

The National Golf Coaches Association announced its 2007-08 awards at the recent NCAA Division III Championships and three Gustavus golfers were honored by the NGCA. Rachel Roberg received First Team All-America honors, while Kali Griggs received Second Team All-America honors and Kimbra Kosak received honorable mention All-America honors. In addition, Roberg, Griggs, and Kosak were named to the Midwest All-Region team.

Six Men’s Swimmers Earn All-America Honors; Four Others Named Honorable Mention

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's swimming and diving team had six swimmers earn All-America honors at the 2006 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. The championships took place March 16-18 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The swimmers include juniors Brian Amundson and Scott Hagemeyer, sophomore Ben Hanson, and freshmen Clement Auyeung, Matt Stewart and Tyler Wakefield.

Amanda Parker Named Verizon Academic All-American

Sophomore gymnast Amanada Parker has been named to the 2003 Verizon Academic All-America College Division Women's At-Large Second Team.
