BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Maren Sundberg (Fy., Eagan) was crucial in the Gustavus volleyball team’s success this weekend, with a season and career-high 33 digs against #5 UW-Eau Claire. Sundberg also chipped in three aces over the weekend, and, as a first-year, is the team’s go-to in serve-receive, scoring a 2.42 in the four matches. Sundberg currently leads the team in digs, with a total of 119 on the season so far, 71 of those coming in the last weekend. For her performance, Sundberg was named MIAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.
