Swim & Dive Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors Posted on July 7th, 2022 by

RICHMOND, VA – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently announced that the Gustavus Adolphus College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams have earned Scholar All-America honors for their efforts in the classroom during the Spring 2022 semester.  The Gustavus men and women were two of the 731 programs from 441 institutions to earn the honor after posting GPAs of 3.58 and 3.57 respectively.

CSCAA also named its individual Scholar All-America Teams. Gusties earning recognition include Ellen Hofstede (Jr., Hopkins), Marit Isaacson (Fy., St. Paul), Lucy Peterson (So., St. Paul), Abby Yartz (Jr., Bemidji), Andrew Becker (Jr., Northfield), Dane Hudson (Jr., Eden Prairie), Ryan Kawlewski (Sr., Sauk Rapids), Peyton Richardson (So., Crystal Lake, Ill.), Kieran Ripken (So., Blaine), Erik Small (Jr., Hudson, Wis.), Matt Strom (So., Rochester), and Callen Zemek (Jr., Victoria)

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
