BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Simona Potockova (Sr., Nova’ Dubnica, Slovakia) won four matches against a pair of playoff teams over the weekend to lead the Gusties to the 30th MIAC regular season title in program history. Playing top singles and doubles against both St. Olaf (April 29) and Saint Benedict (April 30), Potockova tallied 8-4 and 6-3, 6-0 wins against the Oles to go along with 8-3 and 6-0, 6-2 wins versus the Bennies. For her performance, Potockova has been named MIAC Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.
