MENOMONIE, Wis. – The Gustavus gymnastics team fell to the UW-Stout Blue Devils in a dual meet on Thursday night 187.150-182.350.

Abby Willis (So., San Bernardino, Calif.) and Marley Michaud (Fy., Sartell) were the top Gustie finishers on vault, tying with a 9.525 to place second.

Sophie Redding (Sr., Saint Paul) placed second in bars (9.450) while Katy Cash (Canton, Mich.) rounded out the top five (8.950).

Closing out the meet on beam, Emma Esteb (Jr., Woodbury) scored a 9.500 to place third while Lindsey Bangs (Fy., Owatonna) finished in the top five tying with a 9.400.

Brooke Merila (Sr., St. Michael) and Willis led the Black and Gold on floor each tying with a 9.425 for fifth place. Additionally, Merila placed third in all-around (36.175).

The Gusties next compete at home when they host UW-Oshkosh at 1:00 on Feb. 26th.
