SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s hockey team took its second consecutive loss to the Cobbers in a 5-1 final. With the loss, the Gusties fall to 4-10-2 and 0-5-1 in the MIAC.

Similar to Friday night, Concordia got out an early 2-0 lead after the first period and tacked on another in the second.

At the 7:15 mark in the third, Dylan Gast (Sr., Dellwood) put the Gusties on the board with a power play goal with assists credited to Kylar Fenton (Fy., Grafton, Wis.) and Patrick Gazich (Sr., Minnetonka).

The Cobbers retaliated with two more power play goals to complete the sweep over Gustavus.

Jackson Hjelle (So., Delano) made 19 saves in the loss.

Gustavus will head to Northfield to play a postponed game against the Oles on Tuesday night at 7:00.
