KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches announced its Division III All-Region Teams on Monday and Gustavus senior Page Cocchiarella (Owatonna) was named to the Region IX Third Team. Cocchiarella is one of five midfielders on the Third Team, which consists of 14 athletes.
Cocchiarella, who also earned MIAC All-Conference honors, was third on the team with 10 points on four goals and two assists this season. She had a .571 shots on goal percentage on 16 attempts. Cocchiarella also started all 20 games and is the first Gustavus women’s soccer player to earn All-Region since Ashley Becker in 2017. Cocchiarella helped the Gusties finish the 2021 season 11-9 overall, 7-4 in the MIAC for fourth place, and reach the semifinals of the conference tournament.
