BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Kate Holtan (Sr., Rochester) picked up right where she left off from the last time Gustavus played a volleyball match in 2019. On Sunday in the Gusties’ season-opening match at Concordia, Holtan led the team with 18 kills in a straight-set victory. The three-time AVCA All-America honorable mention posted a .317 attack percentage, averaging 6.0 kills per set, with a total of 41 attempts. Holtan also tallied eight digs and a service ace. For her performance, Holtan has been named MIAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.
