Women’s Tennis Drops a Pair to Division I Opponents Posted on February 23rd, 2020 by

CEDAR RAPIDS, DES MOINES, Iowa – The Gustavus women’s tennis team faced a couple Division I teams over the weekend and lost both. The Gusties lost to Northern Iowa 7-0 on Saturday before dropping another 7-0 match to Drake on Sunday. The Gusties are now 1-2 early in the season.

“Both matches we played well and I thought we played better on Sunday,” Head Coach Jon Carlson said. “It truly was a great learning experience. Now we can focus on practice next weekend and work on things that were exposed in these two matches.”
