BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Katie McCoy (Fy., Grafton, Wis.) shut out the No. 7-ranked team in the nation in her first collegiate start in goal as Gustavus defeated UW-Eau Claire 1-0 on Saturday. McCoy made 19 saves and did not allow a score against the Blugolds, who entered the contest with 13 goals scored in their first three games of the year. For her performance, McCoy has been named MIAC Women’s Hockey Athlete of the Week.
