SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus football team welcomed 155 alumni, family and friends to its 28th annual golf tournament on Friday, Aug. 3 at Shoreland Country Club.
“Friday was a great day for golf and fellowship,” Head Coach Peter Haugen said. “Special thanks to all who supported our event this year and who have given so generously to our program. I am thankful to our alumni and friends of Gustavus football for their continued support of this special tradition spanning now 28 years. Mark your calendars for the 29th Annual Gustie Football Alumni and Friends golf tournament in 2019 on August 2nd.”
The Gusties report for preseason training camp Saturday, Aug. 11 and open the season Saturday, Sept. 1 in New Ulm, Minn. against Martin Luther College. Homecoming and Hall of Fame Day are the same date this year – Saturday, Oct. 6 against Concordia.
