Swim & Dive Teams Take Second At UW-Stevens Point Invite Posted on January 20th, 2018 by

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams finished where they started the day at the UW-Stevens Point Invite, both taking second place. The men tallied 942 points behind host UW-Stevens Point’s 1,386, while the women accumulated 866 points behind Division II Minnesota State, Mankato’s 1,352.5.

“It was a great weekend of competition for our team,” Head Coach Jon Carlson said. “The prelims and finals format was like four meets in two days. We needed to compete at this point of our season and we got plenty of it. I am proud of our results and looking forward as we near our conference championships.”

A number of Gusties posted top-three finishes Saturday in their respective races. Here are those that did:
