Men’s Soccer Continues Home Stretch With Two Games Posted on September 19th, 2017 by

ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s soccer team has two games ahead this week at Gustie Soccer Field, hosting a non-conference match against Viterbo University on Wednesday prior to a homecoming matchup versus the University of St. Thomas on Saturday afternoon.

The Gusties (4-3-0 overall, 1-1-0 MIAC) are set to take the pitch against Viterbo at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, and 1 p.m. against St. Thomas on Saturday.

Gustavus opened Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action last Wednesday, falling 1-0 in overtime at Carleton College. They then bounced back by hosting Concordia College on Saturday and prevailing by a score of 2-1. Bradley Williams (Sr., Andover, Minn.) and Matt Gibbons (Fy., Minneapolis, Minn.) each tallied their first collegiate goals.

Viterbo match up information:
