FINAL RESULTS

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s and women’s track and field teams concluded competition at the MIAC Indoor Championships Saturday at the University of St. Thomas. The men took ninth place with 41 points, while the women took 11 place with nine points. St. Thomas won both the men’s and women’s competition with 180 and 195.5 points, respectively.

“Our relays did well, so it’s nice to see them come together and run hard,” Head Coach Dale Bahr said. “We saw some good individual performances on the relays. That’s always fun and for whatever reason the relays seem to bring the team together and get everyone to perform harder, so that was a plus. Right now we need to take a short break and then focus on the outdoor season. Last year we made up considerable ground going from the indoor season to outdoor and that’s what we’ll look to do again this year.”
