Men’s Cross Country Takes Fourth At SJU Fall Finale Posted on November 4th, 2016 by

First-year Bridger Pavelka recorded the top-time for the Gusties.

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s cross country team took a fourth place finish of six teams at the Saint John’s Fall Finale Friday evening.

The Gusties totaled 115 points and owned an average 8k time of 29:36.20. Saint John’s University took home the first place crown.

Bridger Pavelka (Fy., Minnetonka, Minn.) owned the top finish for the Black and Gold, registering a time of 29:10 to post a 38th place finish out of 84 competitors.

Austin Zollner (Sr., Oakdale, Minn.) was next in line for Gustavus at 29:16, a season-best time good for a 41st place finish.

Friday’s meet served as the final tune up before Gustavus prepares for the NCAA Regionals in Northfield, Minn., November 12.
