Men’s Hockey Set For Key MIAC Series Against Saint Mary’s This Weekend Posted on February 4th, 2016 by

ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s hockey team is set for an extremely important MIAC series against Saint Mary’s University this weekend. The Gusties enter the series with a 4-11-4 overall record and 3-5-2 mark (11 points) in the MIAC, while the Cardinals are 8-11-2 overall and 5-6-1 (16 points) in the league. A Gustavus series sweep would move the Gusties one point ahead of the Cardinals, and at the very least, into sixth place. By adding an Augsburg sweep over Hamline (15 points), Gustavus would then move into fifth place, and the final playoff spot, with two weekends remaining in the regular season.

Friday’s game at Don Roberts Ice Rink begins at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday’s game at Saint Mary’s Ice Arena begins at 7 p.m.
