ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s basketball team begins a three-game road trip with a tough test at 7 p.m. Wednesday at No. 5-ranked St. Thomas. The Tommies won game one of the series 71-53 on Jan. 6 in St. Peter. The Gusties enter the matchup with a 9-10 overall record and 6-8 mark in the MIAC, while the Tommies are 17-1 overall and 12-1 in the league. Gustavus is trying to extend a four-game winning streak, while St. Thomas has won 13 straight. The Tommies’ lone loss was on Dec. 5 against Carleton.
