SAINT PETER, MINN. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s tennis team earned a 9-0 victory over Hamline University on Saturday morning at the Brown Outdoor Tennis Complex. The win moves the Gusties to 3-0 in the MIAC and 8-5 overall. Hamline falls to 0-5 in the MIAC and 5-6 overall.
Gustavus kept its season streak of 9-0 victories against conference opponents alive, as it dropped just one set en route to a singles and doubles sweep.
The Gusties will be back in action next Saturday when they host non-conference opponents St. Scholastica and Coe at the Swanson Tennis Center. Those matches will begin at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively. Gustavus will also send a squad to Moorhead for an MIAC matchup with Concordia that will take place at 2:30 p.m.
