St. Peter, Minn. – Following a loss and a tie with UW-River Falls last week, the Gustavus women’s hockey team dropped to No. 9 in the most recent USCHO.com Division III Women’s Hockey Poll, which was released Monday.
The top four teams in the poll all remained consistent with a week ago. After being ranked fifth in last week’s poll, Gustavus, now 7-2-2 on the season, drop behind UW-Stevens Point, St. Scholastica, and UW-River Falls in the rankings as well.
The Gusties will not take the ice again until Jan. 10 when they travel to Stevens Point, Wis., to take on UW-Stevens Point at 7:00 p.m.
