Men’s Tennis Concludes Weekend With 9-0 Win Over St. Thomas Posted on April 21st, 2013 by

Minneapolis – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s tennis team rounded out the weekend with a 9-0 victory over the University of St. Thomas on Sunday at the Baseline Tennis Center.  The Gusties swept both the doubles and singles competitions for the second straight match.  At 19-9 overall and 8-0 in the MIAC, the Gusties will conclude the 2013 regular season with a home match against St. Olaf College on Saturday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m.

5. Brad Entwistle (GAC) def. Allen-Michael Muench (UST) 6-1, 6-1

6. Motasem Al-Houni (GAC) def. Steven Skanse (UST) 6-0, 6-0

Doubles Competition

1. Tyler Johnson/Grant Leisner (GAC) def. Brian McCarthy/Mitchell Blackey (UST) 8-2

2. Mya Smith-Dennis/Joey MacGibbon (GAC) def. Brendan O’Connell/Brady Radermacher (UST) 8-3
