Claremont, Calif. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s tennis team fell at the hands of Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on Wednesday afternoon by a final count of 8-1. After dropping all three doubles contests, the Gusties came back to notch a point at the No. 1 singles spot. Laurel Krebsbach (So., North Oaks, Minn.) defeated Pomona-Pitzer’s Jamie Soloman to record Gustavus’ only point on the afternoon. With the loss, the Gusties drop to 5-3 on the season. Gustavus will be back in action this coming weekend, April 5th and 6th at the Midwest Invitational in Madison, Wis.
