Men’s Tennis Goes 3-0 With Wins Over UW-Eau Claire, Saint Mary’s, And MSOE On Saturday Posted on February 16th, 2013 by

St. Peter, Minn. – The Swanson Tennis Center located on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College was busy on Saturday as the Gustavus men’s tennis team recorded back-to-back-to-back wins against UW-Eau Claire, Saint Mary’s University, and the Milwaukee School of Engineering, respectively.  The Gusties kicked off the morning with an 8-1 win over the Blugolds.  The Black and Gold then topped Saint Mary’s 9-0 before sweeping MSOE 9-0 to cap the busy day.  After going 3-0 in the opening three matches of its home schedule, Gustavus improves to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus men’s tennis team will be back on the court next weekend, Feb. 22-24, when it hosts the 2013 ITA National Indoor Championship at the Swanson Tennis Center.  Gustavus welcomes Cal Lutheran, Emory University, Johns Hopkins University, Kenyon College, North Carolina Wesleyan, Trinity Unviersity, and UC-Santa Cruz to St. Peter for the national invitational.
