Gustavus Adolphus sophomore softball player Brittany Brenke (Le Sueur, Minn.) has been featured on the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s Student-Athlete Spotlight.  The Spotlight highlights student-athletes from across the conference each Tuesday and Thursday.

Brenke has started in all eight games at center fielder for Head Coach Jeff Annis.  The Le Sueur-Henderson High School product is currently hitting .304 (7-23) with a team-high four doubles.

The Gustavus softball team is 5-3 overall heading into its first MIAC doubleheader of the season.  The Gusties will travel to Arden Hills, Minn. to take on the Bethel in their conference-opening series on Wednesday, March 28 at 3:30 p.m.
