Men’s Hockey Set To Battle Milwaukee School Of Engineering In Opening Round Of NCAA Tournament Posted on March 7th, 2012 by

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s hockey team ready to battle the Milwaukee School of Engineering in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Tournament on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in Don Roberts Ice Rink.

No. 8 Gustavus earned the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament by way of a 4-2 victory over St. Olaf in the MIAC Championship game on Saturday, March 3rd in Don Roberts Ice Rink.  No. 6 MSOE punched its ticket to the dance with a 4-3 win over Adrian in the championship game of the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association on Sunday, March 4th in Adrian, Mich.  Gustavus enters Saturday’s game with an overall record of 16-6-5, while the Raiders come in with an overall mark of 22-6-1.
