Men’s Hockey Hosts Saint John’s In MIAC Playoff Semifinal Tonight At Don Roberts Ice Rink Posted on February 25th, 2012 by

The Gustavus men’s hockey team is set to take on Saint John’s University if the semifinal round of the MIAC Playoffs on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Don Roberts Ice Rink.  The No. 2 seed Gusties enter the contest with an overall record of 19-5, while Saint John’s comes in at 14-10.

The 2012 MIAC Playoffs began on Thursday night in Northfield, Minn. with No. 4 seed St. Olaf taking down No. 5 seed Hamline 3-2 in the play-in game.  The Oles battled back from a two-goal deficit, scoring a power play and short-handed goal in the second period before shutting the Pipers down in the third period.
