Men’s Hockey To Skate Against Hamline This Thursday And Friday Posted on February 2nd, 2012 by

Ryan Johnson enters the weekend with 12 points (5G, 7A) on the year.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team will embark on an away/home series against Hamline University this Thursday, Feb. 2nd and Friday, Feb. 3rd.  The Gusties and Pipers will face-off at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday night at the Drake Ice Arena in St. Paul.  On Friday night, Gustavus will host Hamline at Don Roberts Ice Rink for the series finale at 7:05 p.m.

With critical points on the line from here on out, both teams will be out for blood this weekend.  Gustavus, Hamline and Concordia enter the weekend in a three-way tie for second place in the conference standings with 11 points.  Gustavus is 11-5-3 overall and 5-4-1 in the MIAC, while Hamline is 8-11-2 overall and 5-6-1 in the MIAC.
