Ring-Jarvi Steals The Show, Men’s Hockey Defeats UW-Stevens Point 2-1 In Overtime

The Gustavus men's hockey team defeated UW-Stevens Point 2-1 on the road thanks to a pair of goals by senior captain Ross Ring-Jarvi. Ring-Jarvi scored Gustavus' opening goal and overtime game-winner, earning his 100th career point in the process. Gustavus earns its first win of the season and is now 1-1-2, while UW-Stevens Point falls to 2-3-0 with the loss.

Football Can’t Recover From Slow Start, Falls 37-20 To Augsburg

The Gustavus football team fell 37-20 to Augsburg on Senior Day at Hollingsworth Field Saturday afternoon. Gustavus found itself down 28-7 at the half and could not recover in the remaining 30 minutes. Augsburg improved to 6-3 overall and 4-3 in the MIAC with the win, while Gustavus drops 1-8 overall and 1-6 in the MIAC with the loss.
