Baseball Pounds Out 29 Hits In Doubleheader Sweep Of Martin Luther

The Gustavus baseball team extended its win streak to four games by sweeping a non-conference doubleheader against Martin Luther by the scores of 10-1 and 7-0 in St. Peter on Monday afternoon. Cody Sukalski led the offensive onslaught with five hits in eight at-bats and four RBI in the two games. The winning pitchers were Tom Jaede in game one and Bryce Bintzler in game two.

Truebenbach And Rentschler Shut Down Augsburg, Softball Sweeps 4-1, 12-0

The Gustavus softball team earned its second consecutive MIAC sweep by taking down Augsburg 4-1 and 12-0 on Monday in St. Peter. Erin Truebenbach and Kate Rentschler were lights out on the hill, allowing a combined three hits on the day. Gustavus improves to 20-11-1 overall and 13-2-1 in the MIAC with the victories.

Men’s Golf Wins Saint John’s Invite

The Gustavus men's golf team posted a 54-hole total of 283-283-298--864 to finish first out of 16 teams at the Saint John's Invitational. Alex Kolquist led the Gusties individually as he finished in a tie for first with a one-over par total of 73-70-72-215.

Sveen’s Hitting, Euerle’s Pitching Sparks Baseball To Sweep Of Bethel

The Gustavus baseball team used solid pitching and clutch hitting to pick up an important doubleheader sweep of Bethel by the scores of 4-1 and 4-3 on Saturday afternoon. Kellan Euerle pitched a complete game, three-hitter for the Gusties in the first game, while Taylor Fish pitched four shutout innings in relief of Connor Norris to pick up the win in the second game.

Baseball Drops Two To Macalester

The Gustavus baseball team dropped two close one-run games to first place Macalester on Thursday afternoon in St. Paul by the scores of 4-3 and 3-2. Mike Holbrook led the Gusties at the plate as he went 3-for-6 with a run scored and one RBI in the doubleheader.

Women’s Golf Wins Carleton Invitatonal

The Gustavus women's golf team recorded a final round score of 322 to win the Carleton Invitational in Northfield on Saturday. Individually, Gustavus was led by Taylor Drenttel who placed second with a total of 81-79--160.

Softball Back On Track, Sweeps Bethel 9-1, 8-5

With a sweep over Bethel on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, the Gustavus softball team gained a firm grasp of second place in the conference standings with an overall record of 18-11-1 and a MIAC mark of 11-2-1. Bethel falls to 18-12 overall and 9-5 in the MIAC with the losses.

Men’s Track & Field Takes Part In Hamline Capitol City Championships

The Gustavus men’s track and field team registered 22 individual top-10 finishes at the Capitol City Championships hosted by Hamline University on Thursday in St. Paul. There were no team scores kept at the meet, as Blair Riegel turned in Gustavus’ only win by taking first in the long jump with a leap of 22’ 2.25”.

Women’s Track & Field Competes At Hamline Capitol City Championships

The Gustavus women’s track team took part in the Capitol City Championships hosted by Hamline University on Thursday in St. Paul. There no team scores kept at the meet, as Sam Broderius, Janey Helland, and Sarah Baker all tallied wins for Gustavus.

Softball Game Versus Bethel Postponed To Saturday

The Gustavus vs. Bethel softball game set to take place on Friday, April 22 at 1:00 p.m. has been postponed to Saturday, April 23.  Game one is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. on the Gustie Softball Field.  The doubleheader is designated as Parents Day. Gustavus Softball Schedule
