Men’s Golf Tied For Second Place After Day One Of Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invite

The Gustavus Adolphus men’s golf team is currently tied for second place with Saint John’s after shooting a team score 302 (+14) at the Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invite. The opening round was held at the Wild Ridge Golf Course in Eau Claire, Wis. UW-Stout is in the lead after firing a 300 (+12).

Schenfeld Shares Tournament Crown As Women’s Golf Finishes Third At Mustang Invite

The Gustavus Adolphus women’s golf team finished in third place after shooting a team total 316-311-627 (+51) at the SMSU Mustang Invite held Sunday at the Marshall Golf Club in Marshall, Minn. Gustavus senior Katie Schenfeld continued her solid fall play, tying Hawaii-Hilo’s Randi Ono for first place after shooting a 75-75-150 (+6).

Volleyball Suffers Heartbreaking Five-Set Loss To Northwestern

The Gustavus volleyball team jumped to a 2-1 set lead against Northwestern College on Saturday evening, but the Eagles rallied to claim the final two sets and the match including the decisive fifth set by a score of 15-10. The Gusties fall to 4-8 overall as the final set scores were 25-19, 14-25, 28-26, 26-28, 10-15.

Women’s Soccer Falls To Saint Benedict 2-0

The Gustavus women’s soccer team lost to MIAC foe St. Benedict 2-0 on Saturday in St. Joseph, Minn. The Blazers got out to an early lead in the contest, scoring in the third and ninth minute.

Men’s Soccer Battles Saint John’s To 0-0 Tie

The Gustavus men's soccer team threw everything they could at Saint John's on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter out-shooting the Johnnies 21-5 (including 6-0 in the two overtimes), while also holding an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks, but the Saint John's defense shut the Gusties out and the result was a 0-0 tie in double-overtime.

Homecoming Heartbreaker, Football Falls 19-14 To St. Olaf

The Gustavus football team suffered a heartbreaking 19-14 loss at the hands of St. Olaf in its MIAC opener on Saturday in St. Peter, Minn. St. Olaf's Leon Clark scored the game-winning touchdown with less than a minute on the clock to slip past the Gusties on Homecoming Day.

Volleyball Turns In Spirited Effort, But Falls To #13 St. Olaf 3-0

The Gustavus volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to St. Olaf in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Friday night in St. Peter. The Oles cruised to a 25-11 win in the first set, but the Gusties battled back and held late leads in the both the second and third sets before falling 25-21 and 25-22.

Football Set To Host St. Olaf For Homecoming On Saturday

The Gustavus Adolphus football team will take on St. Olaf College for Homecoming on Saturday, Sept. 25. Kick off is set for 1:30 pm on Lloyd Hollingsworth Field in St. Peter, Minn.

Volleyball’s Struggles Continue With 3-1 Loss At Carleton

The Gustavus volleyball team has been going through a bit of a rough stretch lately and the struggle continued on Wednesday night with a 3-1 loss at Carleton.

Women’s Tennis Set To Host USTA/ITA Midwest Regional This Weekend

Gustavus Adolphus College is hosting the USTA/ITA Midwest Regional Championship at the Swanson Indoor Tennis Center and the Brown Outdoor Courts. The Women’s Division III Midwest Region Championships will take place Friday, September 24 through Sunday, September 26.
