Klass, Collins, And Wendorff Named To All-Midwest Region Team Posted on May 21st, 2010 by

Gustavus Adolphus sophomore Lisa Klass, senior Betsie Collins, and junior Emily Wendorff were named to the 2010 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA)/ Louisville Slugger All-Midwest Region Team.  Klass received second-team honors, while Collins and Wendorff were named to the third team.  Klass, Collins, and Wendorff were three of 13 student-athletes from the MIAC named to the 2010 All-Midwest Region Team.

Klass, who was named third team All-Region last year, finished the season with a batting average of .378 (51-135) and a fielding percentage of .979.  She totaled a team-high 43 runs and 51 RBI this season.  Collins finished the year with a record of 14-6 on the hill for the Gusties.  She registered a total of 133 innings pitched, 153 strike outs, and concluded her senior year with an ERA of 2.11.  Wendorff ranked second on the team in hitting with a batting average of .382 (50-131), tallying 28 runs and 39 RBI.
