The Gustavus men’s soccer team evened its record at 6-6-3 with a thrilling 1-0 win over Luther College in double overtime on Sunday afternoon. Mark Adams tallied the gamewinner in the 108th minute. Max Malmquist was credited with the assist.

The Gusties held a slim advantage in shots at 11-8, and in corner kicks 6-4.

Steve Lundberg picked up the win in the nets for Gustavus. He registered three saves and notched his first shutout of the season.

The Gusties will return to conference play with an important match at Bethel on Friday at 3:30 pm.
