Women’s Golf Moves To Fourth Place At NCAA Championships After Second Day Posted on May 14th, 2009 by

The Gustavus women’s golf team moved up to fourth place at the NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships on Thursday at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida after shooting a team score of 324. The Gusties have a two-day total of 322-324–646, which is 15 strokes behind first place Methodist University at 321-310–631. Individually, Kali Griggs is in a four-way tie for ninth place after shooting a second round score of 80 for a two-day total of 77-80–157. Susan Martin of Methodist leads the individual scoreboard with a two-day total of 73-71–144.

Gustavus will tee off at noon (EDT) on Friday for the third round of the four-day tournament.
