Gustavus senior Kelly Chaudoin (Sr., Ely, Minn.) has earned a berth in the NCAA Skiing championships by virtue of finishing in the top 11 in the Central Collegiate Ski Association (CCSA) points standings. The NCAA qualifiers were decided after last weekend’s Central Region Championships. An average of the top two classic and top two freestyle races during the season determined the rankings. The NCAA Championships will be held in Rumford, Maine, March 11-14.

Chaudoin, who solidified her qualifying position with a fourth place finish in the freestyle race and a 15th place finish in the classical race at the NCAA Region meet last weekend in Houghton, Michigan, will be making her second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Championships. She finished 29th in the classic race and 35th in the freestyle race at last year’s NCAA Championships in Bozeman, Montana.

Chaudoin finished eleventh in the final CCSA point standings with 126.6.2 points. Chaudoin’s teammate Allison Bohn, just missed qualifying for the NCAA Championships as she finished 15th with a total of 143.8
