Kali Griggs
Gustavus student athlete Kali Griggs has been named MIAC Women’s Golfer of the Week for her efforts in helping the Gusties win the 20-team UW-Eau Claire Invitational last weekend. Griggs, a junior from Burnsville, Minn., finished fourth individually with a 36-hole total of 80-79–159.
Griggs led the Gusties to a one-shot come-from-behind win over regional rival Wartburg College. Gustavus posted a team score of 314-332–646 to edge the Knights who totaled 313-334–647.
The Gusties are currently rated #3 in the most recent National Golf Coaches Association Division III poll.
