The Gustavus women’s basketball team’s important MIAC matchup at Hamline on Wednesday night will be video streamed live through the Hamline website. You can access the broadcast at this link. Gustavus remained in third place in the conference standings with a 71-66 win against St. Olaf on Saturday in Northfield. Jess Vadnais scored 14 of her 23 points in the second half for a come-from-behind victory. Hamline, which is 12-11 overall and 9-11 in the MIAC, held the final MIAC playoff spot despite losing to Saint Benedict 82-64 on Saturday in St. Joseph. Rochelle Sather and Mary Wilkowski scored 16 points apiece in the loss. In the first meeting between the two teams, Gustavus prevailed 73-66 due in part to 50 percent shooting from the field. Katie Layman scored 14 points in the second half to give the Gusties a boost in the paint.

Women’s Basketball Game Notes vs. Hamline

The Gusties will clinch a share of third place in the conference standings with a win or losses from Carleton and Concordia on Wednesday night
