Women’s Hockey To Face Upstart St. Catherine in MIAC Series

The Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team will take on the College of St. Catherine in a conference series starting with a Friday night game played at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis at 7:05 p.m and concluding with Saturday’s game at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter at 2 p.m. The Golden Gusties enter the contest at 19-2-0 overall and 14-0-0 in league play, while the Wildcats come in at 9-10-2 overall and 6-7-1 in the MIAC. Last weekend, Gustavus swept Saint Benedict 3-0 in St. Cloud and 6-0 in St. Peter. St. Catherine swept St. Olaf with a 3-1 win in Northfield and a 4-3 win in Minneapolis.

The Gusties, who are ranked third in the USCHO.com Division III poll, clinched the #1-seed and home-ice advantage in the upcoming MIAC Playoffs with a series sweep over Saint Benedict
