Laura Edlund won the MSU-Mankato Open in 15:25.
Senior Laura Edlund (Forest Lake, Minn.) continues to run well as she won her first race of the season at the MSU-Mankato Open in Mankato Saturday in 15:25. No team scores were kept as Gustavus, MSU-Mankato, and St. Cloud State were the only schools competing in the 4K race. The Gusties had four runners place in the top seven. Sarah Bernhardson (Eden Prairie, Minn.) turned in her best race of the season finishing third with a time of 15:44, and being the second Gustie to cross the finish line.
Gustavus will compete at the Tori Neubauer Invitational hosted by UW-La Crosse Saturday, October 13.
