Rachel Roberg
Gustavus Adolphus College senior Rachel Roberg (Rice Lake, Wis.) fired rounds of 78-79 to tie for first place in the Division III Midwest Classic this past weekend hosted by Carleton College and played at Troy Burne Golf Club in Hudson, Wis. Roberg was the only player to shoot in the 70’s for both rounds, as she led Gustavus to a four-shot victory after being behind by 12 strokes after day one.
Roberg has compiled a stroke average of 81.2 through through three tournaments this fall. She has posted top ten finishes in each of her last two tournaments as she finished sixth at the Wartburg Invitational before finishing first at last weekend’s Division III Midwest Classic.
