The Gustavus women’s golf team is in first place after the first round of the Wartburg Invitational in Waverly, Iowa. The Gusties fired a first round score of 309 and hold a nine stroke lead over second place Illinois Wesleyan (318). Gustavus sophomore Kali Griggs is in first place individually after posting a round of 74. Kimbra Kosak is in third place with a 76 and Rachel Roberg is sixth with a 77. The tournament concludes with the final round on Sunday morning. Team and individual results are below.
