The Gustavus women’s tennis team will head to Southern California to play five important matches from March 26 through April 1. All five matches will be against teams that are ranked in the ITA Division III Top Twenty. Gustavus is currently ranked #4.
The Gusties will begin their trip with a match against #3 Washington and Lee at 2:00 pm (PST) on Saturday, March 26. The team will then play #11 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Sunday at 2:00 pm (PST). Coach Jon Carlson’s squad will take Monday off and then face #18 University of Redlands on Tuesday at 2:00 pm (PST) and #10 Pomona-Pitzer on Wednesday at 2:00 pm (PST). The team will wrap up its trip with a match against #19 Williams on Friday, April 1 at 9:00 am (PST).
Gustavus enters the trip with a record of 11-1. The lone defeat is to #1 Emory University.
