The Gusties celebrate their MIAC Playoff title with their fans.
The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s basketball team will host Lawrence University of Appleton, Wisconsin in a first round NCAA Tournament game on Thursday, March 3. The game will start at 7:00 pm. The Gusties, who have compiled a 22-5 overall record, enter the tournament on an 18-game winning streak. The Vikings enter with a mark of 19-5 overall.
The winner of Thursday night’s game will advance to play the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point on Saturday in Stevens Point. This will be the first ever meeting between Gustavus and Lawrence on the basketball court.

Prices: $5 for adults and $3 for students, seniors, and children 12 and under.
Pre-sale: Tickets will be available in the athletic department office on Wednesday from 12 pm until 4 pm and on Thursday from 1 pm until 4 pm. Tickets will also go on sale at the door at 5:45 pm on Thursday. If you have questions about tickets please call Barb Rodning at 507-933-7617.
The NCAA Championship Tournament runs from March 3 through March 19 and includes 48 teams from four different regions in the country. The national championship game will take place on March 19 in Salem, Virginia.
