Women’s Basketball Wins Third Straight Against St. Kate’s 78-56

The Gustavus women's basketball team won their third straight game to stay undefeated in conference play with a 78-56 win over St. Kate's. Four Gusties posted double figures, including sophomore post Bri Monahan who led the team with 19 points.

 

Isaac Sieling Named to the 2004 Aztec Bowl Squad

Gustavus linebacker Isaac Sieling has been selected to play for the American Football Coaches Association's Division III all-star team that will play the Mexican National Team in the 2004 Aztec Bowl on December 11 in Cancun, Mexico.

Men’s Hockey Falls to Saint John’s 3-4 in Overtime

The Gustavus men's hockey team lost 3-4 in overtime to sixth-ranked Saint John's on Sunday afternoon in St. Cloud, Minn. Mike Hosfield led the Gusties with two goals and Eric Lindquist recorded a goal and an assist.

Men’s Swimming Places Second at Carthage Invite

The Gustavus men's swimming team traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin to compete against seven other teams at the Carthage Invitational December 3-4. The Gusties compiled 835.50 team points to place second overall.

The Gustavus women's swimming team competed at the Carthage Invitational in Kenosha, Wisconsin December 3-4. The Gusties tallied 698.50 team points to place second overall.

 

Women’s Hockey Posts Impressive 6-0 Win Over Augsburg

The Gustavus women's hockey team completed its weekend sweep over Augsburg with a convincing 6-0 win at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter. Five different players scored for the Gusties including sophomore wing Ingrid Neve who tallied two goals.

Men’s Basketball Rolls to 80-57 Win Over Concordia

The Gustavus men's basketball team moved to 2-0 in the MIAC with an impressive 80-57 win over Concordia in St. Peter on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties, who shot 62.5 percent from the field, were led in scoring by Doug Espenson with 19 points.

The Gustavus men's hockey team lost to sixth-ranked Saint John's 7-0 on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Johnnies improve to 6-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 in the MIAC, while the Gusties fall to 3-6-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus women's basketball team defeated Concordia College 71-67 on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties improve to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the MIAC while extending their home winning streak to 22 games. Sophomore Bri Monahan led all players with 22 points
