Gymnastics Team Earns Academic Honors Posted on August 10th, 2004 by

The National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches has announced the 2003-04 Academic National Team and Individual honors. The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s gymnastics team placed 14th overall with a cumulative team grade point average of 3.3954. The team grade point average is calculated by averaging the entire team’s grade point average. The Gusties were one of two division III programs in the top 15. Gustavus had 13 individuals qualify for the individual honors, which is the most out of the schools involved. Student athletes must have a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the current year or cumulative grade point average based on the institution’s scale to be nominated for the individual honors.
