Gustavus Adolphus College men’s golf coach Scott Moe has been named the Coach of the Year by the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

This past season Gustavus claimed its 23rd men’s golf conference championship in October. The Gusties went on to place sixth at the NCAA Championships in May.

Moe is completing his seventh season as Gustavus Adolphus head men’s golf goach. This is the third time in his career that Moe has received this honor. He was named MIAC Coach of the Year in 1997 and 1998. The Gusties have posted top ten finishes at the NCAA Championships for each of the past six years including fifth place finishes in 2001 and 2002.
