The Gustavus women's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season falling to Whitworth College 87-75 in the championship game of the Whitworth Holiday Classic.

The women's basketball team defeated Whitman College 73-62 in the first round of the Whitworth College Holiday Classic played in Spokane, Washington on Monday, Dec. 29. Angie Peterson led the Gusties with 29 points. Gustavus is now 6-0 on the season.

Women’s Hockey Team Set to Play in France and Italy over Holidays

The Gustavus Adolphus College women's hockey team will travel to Switzerland, France and Italy over the holiday break. Coach Mike Carroll and his squad will leave Saturday, December 27 and return Sunday, January 4.

The Gustavus women's basketball team held off a scrappy St. Olaf team and posted a 74-70 win at Gus Young Court in St. Peter. Gustavus improves to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the MIAC, while St. Olaf falls to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the MIAC.
